A couple of kitties

I started introducing my kid to daycare this week. I talked to him a lot and goodbye was not a problem. But when I came to pick him up after just 30 minutes, he was sobbing. I mean hardcore crying with hiccups.

Apparently all was well until another kid pushed him and then waterworks began. He didn't even want to leave his spare clothes in daycare. We had to go get them and take them back home.

Today is another day and we'll see how it goes.

Linking to Paint Party Friday.

  1. Oh dear, things like that can be hard at first. I am sure he will get used to it sooner or later! Love the pastel kitties. Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie

  7. Love the kitties. Your little one will adjust in time. It's so hard on Mommy, though, to see the tears. My son would cry when I left him and cry when I came to get him. In between he was happy.

  11. Oh that sounds so hard for a mom. I bet you wish you could do it for him. The mountain of learning he has to do in just a few days or weeks seems heartbreaking but he'll be better for it, hang in there! Love your cats, always such adorable and graphic! Visititng from PPF.

  14. Aww, it's so hard to see our little ones go through traumatic transitions. But, they are so resilient, especially if the parents are. You're doing great!
